William McBURNETT Jr. * Josephine Harty PORCH

William McBurnett was born about 1830 to William and Cynthia (Jordan) McBurnett. He married on 15 June 1848 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Harty Porch. Harty was born about 1823 in Georgia, possibly Meriwether County. She was the daughter of  Sherrod and Celia Buce Porch. She moved with her parents to Tallapoosa County, Alabama as early as 1842. William and Harty were enumerated in Tallapoosa County, Alabama in 1850, living next to his parents.

This family was living in  Grant County, Arkansas in 1870 and in Jefferson County, Arkansas in 1880.
