Orren Woodward LOCKETT

Orren Woodward Lockett was born on 20 December 1829 in Monroe County, Georgia. He married Sarah Frances Brewer, who was born about 1837. Orrin was a member of the1st Alabama Infantry, Company F, during the Civil War. Read about his participation in the Civil War at http://users2.ev1.net/~w8368/civilwar.htm. Orren and Sarah ran a grocery in Dadeville, Alabama and raised their family of five children. Orren died in 1913 but Sarah's death is not known.

  • Niel LOCKETT, buried Old Union
• Fannie S. LOCKETT, born about 1866

Grandson:

• Jeptha LOCKETT, born about 1879 (listed as grandson on 1880 census), not sure but he must be son of Drewry, for Hugh wasn't married until 1887
