John Lufsy
LOCKETT
John Lufsy Lockett was born on 25 June 1827 in Monroe County, Georgia. He married on 16 December 1849 in Meriwether County, Georgia to Elizabeth Brazel, who was born on 07 January 1832. John served in the Civil War with Companies A & G, 1st Alabama Infantry Regiment. Elizabeth died on 04 July 1885 and John married Vernon L. Thompson on 20 June 1886 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. John died 23 May 1890. John and Elizabeth are buried in the Red Ridge Cemetery.
