Ida Lou GRAY

Ida Lou Gray was the seventh child of Columbus and Amanda Gray. She was born 12 April 1868 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. She married William Pinkney (Pink) King in Llano County, Texas on 18 December 1884. Pink was the son of Robert Allen King and Barbara I. Goff, born on 15 June 1862 in Texas.

Ida and Pink had nine children before Ida's death on 15 March 1907 as a result of a typhoid epidemic. They also lost two children in the epidemic.

Pink married a widow woman named Lena Forest McKnight McBeth before his death on 02 March 1925 at Crews, Runnels County, Texas. Most of the King family are buried in the Crews Cemetery in Runnels County, Texas.
