John A.
GOLDEN
John A. Golden was born on 29 July 1841. He married on 28 September 1862 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama to Rebecca Webster. Rebecca, who was born in 1845, was the daughter of Samuel J. Webster and Frances Elizabeth Mackey. John died on 19 November 1897 and is buried in Webster's Ford Cemetery in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. Rebecca died on 07 June 1905 and is buried in Castleberry, Alabama.
John was a member of the 1st Alabama Conscripts, Company K, during the Civil War.
