William Moses
GOLDEN
William Moses Golden was born 23 February 1834 in Harris County, Georgia. He married Ellen M. Hornsby on 18 November 1858 in Tallapoosa County, Alabama. Ellen was born on 23 November 1842, the oldest daughter of Moses and Sophia Harrington Hornsby. William and Ellen moved to Texas in 1884 and finally settled in Runnels County, Texas. William Golden was a member of Company B, 47th Alabama Infantry Regiment. Ellen died on 03 January 1915 and William died on 02 October 1916. They are buried in the Evergreen Cemetery in Ballinger, Texas.
