Jones E.
CLAYTON
Jones E. Clayton was born March 1830. He married Espy A. Brown on 29 October 1856 in Tallapoosa County. Epsy Brown was born about 1835, the daughter of John L. Brown and Sarah Cauesy.
She was a Cherokee Indian. She died on 20 November 1913 of bright's disease. Jones died on 21 November 1906.
Jones E. Clayton was in the 33rd Alabama Infantry Regiment, Company E, during the Civil War.
