Lucretia Jane CANADY

Lucretia Jane Canady, the tenth child of Caleb Canady and Mary "Polly" Evans, was born on 18 November 1819 in Georgia. She married about 1838 in Georgia to Wiley Madison Flanagan. Wiley, the son of George Flanagan and Nancy Carroll, was born on 22 August 1813 in Franklin County, Georgia.

Lucretia and Wiley moved from Georgia to Coosa County, Alabama before 1842. They later moved to Newton County, Mississippi before 1856 and again to Jasper County by 1862.

Lucretia died on 7 March 1875 in Bay Springs, Jasper County, Mississippi and Wiley married Martha J. McMillan.

Wiley died on 1 July 1894, also in Bay Springs. Lucretia and Wiley are buried in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery, Smith County, Mississippi.
