This family was living in Lapile Township, Union County, Arkansas in 1900 and 1910.
George died on 18 October 1927 and Margaret died on 28 July 1934. They are buried in the Sweet Home Cemetery in Union County, Arkansas.
George's brother, Elisha, married Margaret's sister, Sarah. George's sister, Margaret L. Hendrix, married William David Smith, son of John Smith and Martha Burson.
George's father, Robert J. Hendrix, later married the widowed Rutha Howell Finch.
