John Thomas SMITH
John Thomas Smith was born on 28 January 1871 in Sebastian County, Arkansas. He married in 1906 to Corda Lee Sprouls. Corda was an orphan girl born in Princeton, Kentucky. She made her home with her sister, Rosa Luker, before her marriage.
This family was living in Kiowa County, Oklahoma in 1910 and 1920. They joined the Cooperton Christian Church in 1913. They later joined the Baptist Church in 1923 and remained members until their deaths. John died on 29 July 1949 and is buried in the Rose Cemetery at Hobart, Kiowa County, Oklahoma. Corda died in 1959 and is buried beside her husband in the Rose Cemetery.
