William David SMITH
William David Smith was born on 17 November 1867 in Alabama. He married in 1888 Elmore County, Alabama to Margaret L. Hendrix. Margaret, born about 1866, was the daughter of Robert and Celia ??? Hendrix. This family was living in Kiowa County, Oklahoma in 1910 and in Grady County, Oklahoma in 1920.
William died on 15 March 1942 and is laid to rest in Hobart Cemetery. Margaret died in 1946 and is buried beside W.D.
Margaret's brother, George, married Margaret A. Burson. Her brother, Elisha, married Sarah Elizabeth Burson.
Margaret's father, Robert J. Hendrix, later married the widowed Rutha Howell Finch.
