  Dear Mr. Schneider:

  	I have your letter of July 31, 1946, in which
  you advise that you have been endeavoring to secure
  automobiles for yourself and your clerk who is a returned
  veteran.

  	As you are no doubt aware, we are exceedingly
  behind on our orders duo to various shutdowns out here
  at the Company. However, if you will place your order
  with the dealer of your choice and thereafter notify notify me
  as to his name and location and the type of car you desire,
  I will do what I can to assist you in securing delivery
  some time within the not too distant future.

  	I know it will not be for a month or two,
  however, in as much as there is a tremendous backlog of
  orders at the present time. Our production quota
  just is not up to taking care of special orders within
  the very near future.
