The tiny parish of Wilby sits in southern Norfolk just east of the main A11 connecting Norwich to London and about three miles south of the market town of Attleborough. There is little to note in the parish it being merely a scatter of houses on a bend in a narrow lane.

All Saints is unusual in being largely built in the Decorated style and evidence points to a 15th century date for much of the fabric. The church suffered a fire in 1633 and lost much of its original furnishings. A major restoration of the early 20th century masked more of the church to leave a fairly plain and simple building. The church sits just west of the centre of farms that marks the village on the lane that runs to Eccles Road station.
