Occupants of Eagle House

I've only positively identified it on the 1881 & 1891 census returns. While I was in Tingewick I was working on the 1851 census & who-lived-where but I can't find any notes on it now. Maybe they will turn up later! click on thumbnail to see bigger version

I wonder what Mrs Gray was doing in such an out-of-the-way spot! She had another daughter, Constance Emilie, who married a Benjamin Nickels Jnr in Tingewick Church in June 1880:

3 June 1880 at Tingewick
Benjamin NICKELS SIG. JUNR of full age bach Analytical Chemist of Seaforth, [Illegible]
son of Benjamin Nickels, Analyst;
& Constance Emilie GRAY of full age spin of Tingewick
dau. of William Gray, Clerk.
Witnesses: Cecil Augustus Munn, Beatrice Charl. Gray.

In September 1881, their daughter was baptised in Tingewick:
04/09/1881 Constance Beatrice Helen dau. Benjamin & Constance Emilie Nickels Jr of London, Gentleman

I haven't been able to find Constance & Benjamin on the 1881 census (I have the Mormon CD set) but Benjamin's father was in Willesden, Middlesex with the rest of his family:

Can't reveal much about the 1891 occupiers, either - presumably John Barber was at the Barracks at the foot of Stowe Avenue in Buckingham? Haven't found him or his wife on the 1881 census - perhaps posted abroad?

Between 1903 & 1907 Hannah Greaves seems to have moved from The Laurels (next-door-but-one) to Eagle House. She was the widow of Richard Proctor Greaves who owned & farmed Grove Hill and died between 1887 & 1891. It may well be that his father owned the farm before him.
Hannah was born around 1836 at Broughton in Oxfordshire. As far as I know they had no children.
