Section C - plots 1-280

This section lies to the south-west of the chapel, bounded on the east by the main path running from the chapel to the Tingewick War Memorial and on the west by a grass border; and bounded on the south by the division between consecrated and unconsecrated ground.

There are five rows running due north-south each divided into between 40 and 50 plots. The third row is sub-divided for most of its length into two rows of half-sized infant plots. Sadly, the majority of the graves are shown on the plan as having no memorial stone.

The plots in this section may have been slightly wider than those to the east of the main path. The plan has the following alignments marked: plot 246 (next to the cypress) aligns with plot 288 opposite; 262 with 305; 265 with 308. There is (or was, when the plan was drawn) a tree growing in plot 278, close to the War Memorial.
