Odena "Dick" Thurman was born 07 January 1894 in Delta County, Texas (Vol 10, p 279). She married Earnest Raymond Detwiler. He was born 08 June 1897 in Ottawa, Franklin County, Kansas (WWI Registration Card).

Children of ODENA THURMAN and EARNEST DETWILER are:

1. William Judson "Judd" Detwiler was born 1924 in Kansas. He was enumerated with his parents in Franklin County, Kansas in 1930. Judd married Wilma Jeanne Ford 25 March 1944 in Franklin County, Kansas (Book: T, p: 390). He served his country in World War II and was an Ensign in the United States Navy. He died in 1944. Judd is buried in Highland Cemetery in Ottawa, Frankin County, Kansas (Section: 53/12)

2. Floyd Burton "Bert" Detwiler was born 25 April 1925 in Kansas and died 21 July 1997 in Kansas. According to SSDI, his last payment was sent to Lane, Franklin County, Kansas. Bert is buried in Baker Cemetery in Lane, Franklin County, Kansas.

Earnest Raymond Detwiler died 16 July 1960 in Kansas.

Odena "Dick" (Thurman) Detwiler died January 1983 in Kansas

The second time is with Thomas M. and Loula Lewis who lived in 2nd Ward, Hopkins County in 1910.
