     Hezekiah was born at Woodstock, Shenandoah Co., Virginia, on 9 May 1848. He was the son of Joshua Dellinger and Mary Catherine Craig. He migrated in 1857. Hezekiah went to Ohio with relatives of his mother, who had apparently died in childbirth. Hezekiah apparently did not get along with his step mother, so he moved west with his mother's relatives when they migrated.. Hezekiah Kleglett Dellinger married Nancy Jane Cook, daughter of Charles Cook and Ann Elizabeth Slightom, on 16 June 1872. Hezekiah Kleglett Dellinger died on 31 December 1928 at Liberty, Schulyer Co., Missouri, at age 80.
