     Robert Cherry married Mary Riley. Robert Cherry married Lucrecia Leach in 1780 at Ireland. Robert Cherry left a will in 1798; Robert Cherry's will, which was dated 1798 and proved in Dec. 1799, mentions his wife, Letty; sons: George, John, William, Gray and James; and daughters; Sarah and Janet. His executors were his wife and John Cherry. The will was witnessed by James Elliott, John Wylie and John Ferguson. The will was recorded page 16 of the Chester Co., South Carolina, Will Book B. He died on 15 July 1798 at South Carolina.
