Stine Album
When Jacob Stine served in the War of 1812 he was listed as living in Fairfield
Co., OH. Perry Co., OH was formed from Fairfield, Muskingum and Washington Cos.,
OH in 1818. Listed in Capt. Daniel Lidey's Company of Ohio Militia. Jacob Stine
died before pensions were available for men like him who served during the War
of 1812. His widow Elizabeth Strock Stine filed for his pension in 1871. Her
application was rejected on account of insufficient service.
