Living with Jacob and Elizabeth are their youngest daughter Naomi, the two sons of George Heck and Catherine Stine Heck and John and Ann Stine's two youngest sons.

Elizabeth Stine is living with this family her age is listed as 60, when in fact she is 70 years old. Jacob Stine age 17, occupation engineer also listed with this household. I believe this Jacob could possibly be Jacob Heck, son of George S. Heck and Catherine Stine Heck. These parents died in Iowa, winter of 1842 - 1843. There is always a possibility this is Jacob Stine son of John J. Stine and Ann Adcock Stine. I can not find John J. Stine's family on the 1860 census any where in the United States. Until I can locate John,  I will not be able to determine which child this is. Further documentation is needed.

What became of this young man?   I have not found him in any census or any other records in Lee  Co.,  IA or Perry  Co.,  OH.   If you are a descendant of Jacob Heck please contact me.
