I arranged for someone to check for probate records for Alexander in Lee Co., IA to see what became of his property (which I assumed) he had there. Also, had someone check in Perry Co., OH.. as it could have been property there given by his grandfather, Judge John Heck. This was completed 30 December 2002, yielding no probate records in Perry Co., OH or Lee Co., IA for this Alexander R. Heck. There is a probate record in Perry Co., OH for Alexander's uncle,  for whom he was named.
