The obituaries of both Louis and Wilhelmina list them having borne 10 children, 4 daughters and 6 sons. I think this is an error, it should read 6 daughters and 4 sons.

Buelah and Margaret Bird are sisters.

1900 Spencer Co., IN Federal Census lists this couple as married 17 years, Minnie has borne 9 children, with 7 children living.

1900 Spencer Co., IN Federal Census lists an Edward S. Freshley living with this family. He is a nephew, the son of John Freshley and Rosa Koehl Freshley, their youngest child. Edward S. Freshley b. July 1880 d. 17 June 1901, cause of death rabies.

Louis Freshley made his home in the Lake Mill area until 1920 when he moved his family to Rockport.
