Rosa born Wisconsin; WI GER PA. Frederick listed as age 1.

1881, I suspect when these parents died that the infant heirs of John and Rosa Koehl Freshley went to live with their grandmother, Catharine Wedmeier Freshley. It is not until after her death in 1891 that we find them living with Louis and Wilhelmina Hoch Freshley. Guardianship records for these two sons of John and Rosa begin in May 1892 and end October 1901.

1900 Spencer Co., IN Federal Census lists Edward S. Freshley as 19 years old, born IN, father born OH, mother born WI. Rosa Koehl was born in WI according to the 1880 Spencer Co., IN Federal Census. I am searching for the place of burial for Edward S. Freshley. I have yet to find what happened to Frederick Freshley.

The death of Edward S. Freshley is noted in the guardianship records of Spencer Co., IN. I have not been able to find the final report on Frederick as some of the books are misplaced.
