The St. Michael's Church is an protestant church in Eltingen, a district of the city Leonberg in the federal state Baden-Württemberg in Germany.

The Michaelskirche church in Eltingen was built in 1487 with a single nave overlooked by rib vaulting and a retracted chancel. The tower is adorned by late gothic acoustic windows and a polygonal spire. This is the church where the Froeschle children, born in Germany, were baptized.

Arrived New York, 1 May 1852 aboard Brk. Beejapore, note departed 7 April 1852, Liverpool

Family history relates that when this family was on board ship, in transit to America, about 3 days before docking in New York, their infant died. Catherine Froeschle kept her child's death a secret, from the crew, so the infant would not be buried at sea.

The Bark "Beejapore" lists the Froseschle family beginning at passenger 663 and ending with the infant Margrat as passenger 670. See passenger list below:

The Will, of Jacob F. Froschle can be found in Will Book Vol. 1, pages 185 & 186, in Spencer Co., IN, does not list his children. However, it states that Jacob F. Freshley is his oldest son. And lists two grandchildren; Charly Baumen and Catherine Baumen. His will was made 29 December 1865 and probated 19 February 1866.

Gottleib Froschle is listed as a male on the ship Beejapore and on the 1860 census for Hamilton Co., OH. I could never find a son named Gottleib in any records. I could not find a daughter who married a Bauman and produced grandchildren Charles and Catherine Bauman mentioned in their grandfather's will. Now I have found Gottleib is Gottleibe a female who married Henry Bauman and produced grandchildren Charles and Catherine Bauman. There are two Bauman markers in Zoar Cemetery that could possibly be the parents of Charles and Catherine Bauman. The markers are written in German script and difficult to read.

Caroline Froschle buried in Zoar Cemetery, under a marker listing her as the daughter of J. F. & C. Froschle and does not mention a husband. However, a marriage record has been found for her. Caroline Freshley married Christian Schumacher in Spencer Co., IN in 1878. She was the first of his three wives and they had two children.

Anna Mary Froschle is buried in Zoar Cemetery Spencer Co., IN.
The 8 month old infant Margrat must have died when the family was three days out of the port of New York.
