Dugger and Cheatham DNA studies show that two of Lydia Dugger's sons are related to both the Dugger and Cheatham lines. The will of Marmaduke Cheatham, of Surry Co. VA. is dated April 30, 1762 [Surry Co. Will Book 10, pg. 416]. He left a cow and a calf to John Dugger, son of Lydia Dugger deceased. There is no statement of his relationship to John Dugger.
