There must have been other children, however I have found no documentation for any other child besides Joel Curtis.

Year: 1830; Census Place: , Bledsoe, Tennessee; Roll: 175; Page: 275. Indexed as Caster, image clearly shows Curtis.

Year: 1840; Census Place: , McMinn, Tennessee; Roll: 527; Page: 118. Indexed as Jno. Kurtus shows Rev. War service. Also in home is a woman aged 20 - 30 and two young males, possibly a daughter or daughter-in-law with grandchildren.

*Pension records indicate John Curtis died 7 August 1844. However, Mc Minn Co., TN Historical Society has the original will books and in a call [1.423.744.3911] to them 8 June 2009 I was informed will was executed 15 July 1844 McMinn Co., TN Book D, p. 253.
