This extraction was done for us (Joan Say, Shirley Higham and Ruth Nunes) by a German genealogist, Joachim Meyer, who sent us his hand written extractions, a map, and pictures of the area. There were over 1000 names. Aschenbach, Hosfield, Hoetzel, Kellner, Helbig, Heusing, Flading, Kallenbach, Werner, Malsch, Wangemann, Heller, Trautvetter, Kley and other related names. Joachim said the records were so old and faded, that there were a lot he couldn't read and others that crumbled in his hand.
We would not only like to help others that may have records in this church, but to find other descendants in this country. There were other records that indicated immigration to America. All but about 100 names are entered in the genealogy on this web site.
If you find any connection here, we would like to hear from you. It would be very good to build a data base of descendants to help others find their way. Ruth Nunes is especially interested in the descendants of the Aschenbach line (actually, we all are - but we keep in touch and share our information).
