The death of Mrs. C.W. Snyder at Ann Arbor Feb. 1st came as a shock to her
children and friends at this place. Mrs. Snyder went for treatment
for cancer, but lived only one week and was not operated on. The funeral
was held the 4th at the M.E. church in Winn. She was a member of the
church and aid society. Also a charter member of the Lady Maccabee
of this place. Both orders also the K.O.T.M.M. attended in a body.
The remains were laid to rest in the Cullimore cemetery. She leaves
besides a husband, one son and two daughters and a large circle of friends
to mourn their loss. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.
The article doesn't give a lot of family information. Cullimore
Cemetery is the old name for Union Cemetery. The Cullimore family owned
the land next to the cemetery. The name Union comes from the
Union Church that was next to cemetery.
