Lt George Oldham served in the 11th Virginia from Feb 1776 to end of theRev. War for which service he received 2666 and 2/3 acres bountyland from VA; 3 Jun 1807. He returned to Accomacke Co. VA wherehis descendants were county clerks for some years. I am told thathe first came to the Eastern Shore from either Northumberland or RichmondCo. VA.
