EMBLEY PARK

 

 Embley Park is situated in East Wellow, west of Romsey in Hampshire. There have been houses built on the site as the present building, dating back to King Alfred 849-901 AD. Embley Park is set in large grounds, and  at one time there were 30 gardeners. It was joined to Broadlands which was the home of Lord Palmerston.
