May 20 2003, Thanks to Sharon Hogan for the following!:
"On the Island School page... one is one I know well, as I lived in it as a young child here on Wolfe Island... It is S.S. 4, not ... If you had looked out of the Library front window when you were here, you would have seen the building on the top of the hill, directly across the main street. It was the only brick school of that era, and has since been turned into a summer home belonging to George and Helen Vasko. Helen is a former Wolfe Islander (nee McKenna) and her mother Kathleen was one of the long-time teachers in our Catholic school system. She just passed away earlier this spring." Thanks Sharon!!
