The first seperate school. In 1854 the first meeting of the first separate school in the township was called by Thomas Gilligan.

According to Annual report of 1856, the school was built in 1853 as a gift. It was of frame structure. The trustees were Thomas Gilligan and Thomas Briceland.

In 1878 tenants map Con VI Lot 5 E (N) , land owned by Pat Moran, listed Separate School
Open 12 months of the year.
In 1858 had 101 pupils.
Trustee was David Cramand, Thomas Stokes and Edward Abbott.
