This is the last Will and Testament, of me Flora McDonald a resident the city of Kingston in the Province of Ontario, widow of the late Donald McDonald of the Township of Wolfe Island.
Whereas I am entitled to certain moneys on deposit in the Post Office Savings Bank of the Dominion of Canada and also to certain moneys in the hands of my son Walter I McDonald.
And Whereas my late daughter Catharine was married to John Little; and on her decease left an only child, the issue of said marriage Grace Little; whom after the death of her mother I adopted as my daughter, and have called her since by the name of Grace McDonald and whereas I am desirous of bequeathing my said moneys above mentioned to my said grand daughter Grace –
Now this is my last will. I hereby give devise and bequeath to my said grand daughter Grace Little, otherwise called Grace McDonald; all the said moneys to which I am entitled in the said Post Office Savings Bank, and also in the hands of my son Walter I McDonald and also all other real or personal property whatsoever of which I may die entitled to or possessed.
To hold and be possessed of the same unto the said Grace Little otherwise called Grace McDonald, her heirs and assigns for ever, and to be at her own disposal for ever.
I hereby appoint George A Kirkpatrick of the City of Kingston Esquire to be my executor of this my last will.
In Witness whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this eighteenth day of October one thousand eight hundred and seventy seven. Signed Sealed Published and declared by the said Flora McDonald as and for her last will and Testament, in the presence of us, who both present together, at the same time, in her presence, at her request and in the presence of each other have hereunto subscribed our names as witnesses.

In the Surrogate Court of the County of Frontenac

In The goods of Ann McCrea deceased
I John Baker of the Township of Wolfe Island in the county of Frontenac yeoman make oath and say that I am one of the executors named in the last Will and Testament of the said Ann McCrea deceased. That the said deceased died on or about the twelfth day of February AD 1867 at the said Township and that the said deceased at the time of her death had her fixed place of abode at the said Township of Wolfe Island in the said County of Frontenac.

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Ann McRea of the Township of Wolfe Island in the United Counties of Frontenac + Lennox and Addington in the Province of Canada, Widow, Relict of John McCrea late of said township Surgeon, deceased, made and declared by me as followeth.
In the first place, I do give, divide, and bequeath unto my Daughter Hannah Cuff, wife of James Cuff, Wolfe Island afore said, and Jesse Baker, wife of Donald Baker of the same place, all and singular my real and personal property and Estate of what kind or nature local? and wheresoever situated; to have and to hold the said Real Estate and personal Estate unto and to the use of them my said Daughters Hannah and Jessee their Heirs, Executors, Administrators and Assigns, according to the kinds and nature therein respectively as ? in common and free and discharged of and from the control, liabilities, and present or future debts, obligations or responsibilities of the present or future Husband or Husbands of either of them my said Daughters Hannah and Jessee and subject only in any event to the limitations restrictions and declarations of and concerning the same contained in this my will.
And I do hereby declare it to be my desire that if either of my said Daughters, Hannah and Jessee, shall sell or dispose of the real or other property hereby divided as aforesaid that the money to be derived from any such sale or sales shall be invested in purchasing land or Real Estate for the use and benefit of such of my said Daughters selling, or who may sell such Estate or part thereof as aforesaid. And further, that any money which I may leave (at the time of my death), under this my Will to my said Daughters Hannah and Jessee or either of them, shall by them or each of them respectively be applied to and in purchasing Land or Real Estate for and to the use of such My Daughter or Daughters respectively receiving or so to receive such money as aforesaid.
In witness whereas I have hereto set my hand and this the tenth day of September, AD one thousand eight hundred and fifty one – and I do nominate and appoint John Baker of Wolfe Island, Yeoman and William Nichols of the City of Kingston, Yeoman Executors of this my

Wherefore your petitioners pray that probate of the said will of the said deceased may be granted to them by this Honorable court Dated the thirteenth day of March AD 1867
