Know all men by these presents that I William Garrat
of the town of Kingston in the Midland District Gentleman
in consideration of the sum of fifteen pounds lawful
money of upper Canada paid to me by Hugh McDonell
of Wolfe Island yeoman have and do herby assign
transfer and sel over to the said Hugh McDonell his
executors administrators and assigns, all my right
? and claim to the land mentioned and set
forth in the annexed Receipt being lot No one
in the tenth concession North of the Base Wolfe Island
as to any? fee of the said land that the Clergy
corporation may see fit to give and upon such
terms and conditions as to any future payments therin
as they may consent and agree to. It being however
declared and understood that I do not in any
wise covenant promise or guarantie on the part
of myself or my heirs executors or administrators, for
any title claim or demand whatsoever to the said
land to the said Hugh McDonell his executors admin
nistrators or assigns; other that what may be obtained
by him and them from the said Clergy Corporation
under the original agreement for purchase and
such as that may consent to; It appearing upon
examination that the lot contains only about twenty
five acres of land fit for cultivation; the residue
lying in the marsh and water of Big Bay on said
Island. In witness whereof I have herto set
my hand and seal at Kingston this the 22nd day of
February One thousand Eight Hundred & Forty two.

Know all men by those presents that I Hugh
McDonald of Wolfe Island in the county of Frontenac
yeoman, in consideration of the sum Fifteen Pounds
of Lawful money of Canada, to me in hand paid
by Allen McDonald of the said Township of Wolfe
Island yeoman (the receipt whereof is hereby ac-
knowledged I here remand, released, and for ever
quited claim, an by those presents do ?
and for ever for ever quit claim unto the land
Allen McDonald his heirs and assigns all my
right, estate and interest whatever in to , or out
of that certain Tract or parcel of land and premises
bring composed of the Clergy Lot No one in the
tenth concession, north of the Baseline in the
said Township of Wolfe Island.
To have and to hold the said tract or parcel
of land and premises with the privileges and
appoitencences? to him the said Allen McDonald
his Heirs, and assigns to their ? for ever.
In testimony whereof the Land Hugh
McDonald, have herewith set my hand and
seal, at Wolfe Island this 7th day of

Allan McDonnell of the Township of
Wolfe Island in the County of Frontenac
and Province of Canada yeoman for
and in consideration of the sum of sixty
four pounds seventeen shillings and six
pence of lawful money of Canada to me
in hand well and truly paid at or before
the sealing and delivery of these Presents
by Joseph Bullis of the some place
yeoman the receipt whereas is hereby ac
knowledged. Have remised re
leased and quit claimed and by these
Presents as remise release and quit claim
unto the said Joseph Bullis his heirs executors
administrators and assigns for ever all
and singular that certain parcel or tract
of land and premises situate lying and
being in the said Township of Wolfe Island
and being composed of all that part of
lot number one in the tenth concession
North of the Base line lying West of the
marsh aft as surveyed by Thomas Fraser
Gibb Esquire Provincial Land Surveyor
containing by measurement seventeen
acres and three tenths of an acre of land
