Honble Peter Robinson
Sir: I am desirous of leasing Lot No 7 in
the 8th concession of the Township of Wolfe Island
South of the B Line. I been informed that Mr
George Horn has applied for the same lot but as
he departed this life with that unfortunate complaint
that's raging threw the Contry I thought that I would apply
for it my self as I am without any land there
no clearance made by any person on the lot
It is in its quite natural state any certificate
to certify his death will be produced if require
at any time please to send me a few lines
down on the subject so that I may know
wether I can depend on getting it or
not by so doing Youll much oblige
your obt Hmble Svt

Dear Sir:
Reviewing my application of last month
I write the following letter to give you to understand
that a young man by the name of John Bush
has been to widow Horn to get a Certificate from
her to make over George Horn right to him
this young Bush has land on the Island
and its the general opinion of people
that's mearly for a speculation that
he wants this lot No 7 in Eight
Concession of the Township of Wolfe Island
south of the B. Line. I would be glad
to get a lease of the same lot as I have
no land and send you the Rent
according as you will direct me
I am Sir with Respect
