This photo may have been taken on Simcoe Island next to a lighthouse. Note the flat rock and the angle of the building in the photo is a structure of a lighthouse.

Margaret Holliday & Arthur Vincent
Margaret ( Marjorie) Irene Halliday Vincent was born on Wolfe Island Nov. 23,1884 She was named after both her grandmothers Irene Dixon Bamford and Margaret Notter Halliday. She met Arthur Ward Vincent at a dance at her Uncle Will Dixon's and on June 14,1905 they married on Wolfe Island. He was born in Clayton,Jefferson Co. New York Aug.23,1883. His family were pioneer settlers in the area.He used to cross the ice in winter to visit grandma. In those days you were free to row a boat in summer or walk or take a team of horse's or cutter across between the United States and Wolfe Island with no problems or question's asked.
