Wolfe Island Band 1894

Photo taken in front of municiple Hall.
During 1960's Mr. Dixons father contacted Noble Armstrong who
was ten years old in 1894 and Mr. Armstrong gave Mr. Dixon the
names of everyone in the photo.
The Wm Dixon was Bill Dixons grandfather, and J.D. Bamford
his fathers first cousin.

Niles Family

Her husbands Grandmother is in this photo and her maiden name was Jane Gordon. In the large picture with the house the names on the back of the photo are Jane Gordon, ? Niles, Aunt Mary. Also on the back of the photo it says that Jane Gordon taught school on Wolfe Island.

L-R Matilda (Tilly) daughter, Rachella (Shelly) daughter, George son, Teacher Jane Gordon, Wallace Son, Mother Jane (nPercy)b 1849US, John Niles b1845US, Inez daughter. John, another son, is not in the photo but possibly was taking it.
Location of farm on the Wolfe Island WI 17-9 SBL. Photo was take at the back of the farmhouse.
