Alex and Lovina Kiell House
"The house on Bear Point at the southwest corner of the island was probably built between 1851 and 1861 (they married in 1854). In the 1851 census Alex was listed at the bottom of the family list and by 1861 he and Lovina were at the top. In the1878 land tenants map the plot adjoined Peter and Louis's plots.. The house collapsed sometime in the 30s or 40s . It used to have a dirt road running by it when I was there in 1965 but it is now only accessible thru the woods from the beach."
