Here is a picture of my grandfather John William Clarke. He was 12 years old at time it was taken in Gananoque, so it would have been photographer around 1875.

I recently acquired a photo from my families collection of Israel Garrah/Garrow and Ena Budd. On the back of the picture taken in Harrison, Michigan, it states that they were cousins of my grandmother. She was the granddaughter of Julia Garrah/Garrow, daughter of Israel and Agnes Garrah. Julia and her brother Israel (DOB per death record is 1839) are both buried in Greenwood Cemetery near Harrison, Michigan. I believe this to be a picture of Julia's nephew. I have been searching for information on Israel and Agnes Garrah's family but have been unsuccesful at this point. I find only information on children from his marriage to Mary O'Connor. If anyone has information that they can provide me with, I would greatly appreciate it.

NOTE added June 2006:My cousin took a closer look at the picture I sent you and thinks the woman's names on the back are Irene and Israel Garrow. We had an awful time trying to read it as it was written with ink on the back of the picture which was also black. Sandra McCarrick
