Hammond-White wedding
Wedding photo from left to right- Wilfred Hammond, Catherine (ne White),
Rev. E. J. Way. Catherine is the daughter of William (Bill) White and
Ceceila (ne Garrah). Photo taken at the White homestead on Howe Island
early 50's.
FYI the car you see in the background was borrowed from neighbor Lester
Leavis for the bride and groom use on this special day.

Mary & Anne Garrah & ??
This photo was taken at 513 Frontenac Street in Kingston, my Mothers
homestead.
Second from left is teenage photo of my Mother Mary Garrah (ne Murphy)
and far left her sister Anne Doyle (ne Murphy). The other two in the
photo are unknown to me but I'm sure were friends.
My Mothers and Aunt's parents are Mary (ne Murphy) and Joseph Murphy. My
Mother and Aunt left Wolfe Island about 1924.

W.O. and Stella Prior
William, known commonly as W.O. and
Mary know as Stella were life long residents of Howe Island. Mr. Prior
was Reeve of Howe Island for a number of years.
William Oswald Prior b 1891- d 1953 and his wife Mary Estella Driscoll b
1893 d 1985. Chilren are: Anita, Earl, Doreen and Barbara.
Stella's father was John Driscoll b1865 d1956, m1893 to Susan A Pickett
b1868 d1914.
