Taken approx 1939/40
"The young fellow strolling across the front of the photo is Jack Quinn, Brenda's father. I do not have all the Leavis's identified but here I go. L-R James , ? , Pat, Fanny, ?, Elizabeth, Mary A., ?, ?, Margaret (my Grandmother)."

From Marylou Dalzell Chapman 2005:
"My great-aunt, Helen Grace Dalzell Leavis, married James Leavis and they lived on Howe Island. Some of their descendants are still there. One of the photos on mystery photo page 2 includes a picture of my great aunt. (She went by her middle name, Grace, not Helen Grace.) Anyway, she is in the photo from HIpage14, the only person in a flowered dress. The man directly to her left in that photo is her husband, James Leavis. "

Loretta and Jack Quinn
Sept 15 1965
This photo was taken Sept 15th, 1956 on the South Shore of Howe Island. This is where Loretta ( Brenda's Grandmother and her Father) Jack lived in the mid 50's. Loretta is my Fathers (Ira) sister and this is their homestead.
