Farming on Cadue Farm
Man in foreground (second from right) with mustache is John Damer Cadue.
The man in the far back with the mustache with his both hands on top of the shovel is Joseph Cadue Sr. born 1841.
The one on the left is one of the Cadue's, but don't know which.

Norman and Bernard Cassidy abt 1912
"These
two boys are Norman and Bernard Cassidey son of Willie Cassidy. This is an
original postcard with the picture on the front and on the back is addressed
to Mr. P Leavis, Howe Island, Ont. This would be lot 4 on Howe Island. (It
would have been the second farm down from the Head of Howe Island which was
the Leavis and then Garrah farm in 1945.) It reads exactly as it appears:
"Dear Friend. This is a picture off my to sons Norman and Bernard with Love
to I remain." Yours Truly, Willie Cassidy. It has a l cent us stamp on it.
Mailed Aug.31, 10.00PM 1912. It would appear they would be from a well to do
family if they had bicycles and appear to be well dressed. The Gibson's must
have purchased the farm from the Cassidys in the early 1900's."
