Howe Island Old Houses 6

The Cassidy Cabin

"The Cassidy cabin... is an original structure on the island. It has not been moved. We were lucky enough to get a couple of logs from the old Clarke cabin down the road. Our builder discovered that the Clarke cabin was being torn down, so he salvaged some logs from it (with the owner's permission, of course). We used those logs to repair some rotting logs in our cabin, but otherwise, this cabin is the original Cassidy homestead. "
