Though this map is dated 1822 I believe some names may have been added later…??
Text near bottom reads:
"The Township of Wolfe Island includes Simcoe Island, gaden Island, Horse Shoe Island & Mud Island Oct 1857(37?)
Side lines to be drawn from post to post 18th Vic: Cap. 152 1855"
These two lines were obviously written at different times.
Not every lot had people on it. Some lots were labeled Kings College Land
The writting was hard to read in some areas, if you have corrections please email me.
