The farm was owned/managed by her son-in-law John Burnard, husband of Susanna's daughter Susanna (Sleeman) Burnard. Seems the name "Sleeman" and "Sluman" were interchangeable depending on which record you look at. John Burnard and Susanna Sleeman were married 26 December 1814 in the Parish of Bradford,Devonshire, England.
