Automated Genealogy
Volunteer project to produce a FREE, online index to the 1901 Census of Canada. Columns in index:line number,family or household number ,surname ,given names ,sex ,relationship to head of household ,marital status ,month and day of birth ,birth year ,age.
All of the Canada census has been indexed.

A transcriber is someone who "extracts" data from original document,microfilm or microfiche and writes the information onto paper templates
and/ or inputs the information into computer in a certain format to be
sent to me and then added to the Islands site.
The transcriber retains all copyright. I have copyright only on
how it appears on this site.
NOTE: THIS SITE DOES NOT PROVIDE THE
COPIES/MICROFILM ETC FOR TRANSCRIBING!
Volunteers must acquire the microfilm etc themselves. For Vital
Stats they can be viewed free or ordered for a small price at
Family History Centers and some libraries.
