Gentlemen,

I have the honor to inform you, that Col. Stambaugh has furnished to this office a copy of the journal of your proceedings, at a council held with the Cherokee and Creek Indians, at Fort Gibson - commencing January 29th, 1833. And also copy of the report made by Kendall Lewis and Frederick Saugrain, appointed by you to appraise certain improvements; of the Creek Indians, who could be compelled to remove, in conformity; with the provisions of the late treaties. He has also furnished the report and field-notes of Capt. Boone, of a survey of the boundary line between the Creeks and Cherokees; all which are placed on file, and will receive attention.
