Oct. 2002 - Research News!! - I found out that there was Creek Nation census taken in 1843. I will attempt to get a copy of it from the National Archives in Washington D.C. and transcribe it. From correspondence it appears it was full census taken house to house and listing at least the heads of families and possibly the members of the families in age groups. This census would fill the gap between the 1832 census and the 1857-59 census/payrolls.

Aug. 12, 2001 - Well, yet another mutation of Creek Indian Researcher. I took down the "tree" background and replaced it with this gradient background.
