This cemetery is located 3 miles south of Dexter.   Access is through the private property of Hugh Collums Jr. and one should contact him when visiting.  From FM 678 turn onto CR 141 and drive 8/10 mile to a curve which turns back east.  At the curve, there is a gate on the left which enters the Collum property.  We followed some winding tracks about 4/10 mile to the cemetery.   At one time, Rocky Mound School and a store were also located near here and served a number of families who lived in the area.  It is believed that the cemetery was begun by the Newell family and probably had many more graves than are found today.  We found signs of several other graves outside the present fence.  My thanks to Hal Dick and Imanell McDaniel for their helpful information.  Surveyed 27 Dec 2003.
