QUAID CEMETERY

Transcribed by Barbara Jarvis

This cemetery was originally surveyed on the Guy Wooten farm, located in southeast Cooke County, east of Walling Cemetery.  Some 40 to 50 graves were found, mostly marked with sandstones.   Cattle had been allowed to roam through it and many markers were damaged or destroyed.   Later, with the construction of Lake Ray Roberts, a total of 111 graves were moved to Bloomfield -Jones Cemetery.  Of these, only the names below were identified.
